Getting started
Your plan starts as soon as you purchase it — you can take your first lesson right away. Your plan details, including your available minutes, are always visible on your dashboard.
Weekly minutes
Your plan includes a set number of minutes each week. Here's what you need to know:
-
Minutes refresh every Monday at 3:00 AM (your local timezone). Any unused minutes from the previous week expire and do not carry over.
Example: You have 90 minutes available each week (a 3-lesson plan). You only use 60 minutes before your weekly minutes refresh on Monday. The remaining 30 minutes expire and are no longer available.
- All lesson types share the same minute balance. Private lessons and group lessons both draw from your weekly minutes. For example, if your plan includes 60 minutes per week and you attend a 30-minute group lesson, you have 30 minutes remaining for private lessons that week.
- You can use up to 60 of your weekly minutes in a single day. If your weekly balance is larger than 60 minutes, you can use up to 60 minutes per day until your weekly balance is used up.
When you want more flexibility
Run out of minutes mid-week? After you've used up your weekly balance of minutes, the option to buy extra minutes will appear when trying to take or book another lesson during the same week. Extra minutes expire when your current plan ends or renews. Learn more
Want more lessons per week? You can upgrade your plan at any time. The unused value of your current plan goes towards the cost of the new one. Learn more
Need a break? You can pause your plan for 1–4 weeks. During a pause, you won't be able to schedule or attend lessons, but your plan end date extends by the same number of days — so you don't lose any time. Learn more
FAQ
Can I use all my weekly lessons on the same day?
You can use up to 60 subscription minutes in a single day. Afterwards, you will be asked to purchase extra minutes for any additional lessons you'd like to take. Daily minutes reset at 3:00 AM your local time every day.
Example: On a plan with 90 minutes per week (3 x 30-minute lessons), you could take 2 lessons on one day (60 minutes) and 1 lesson on another day (30 minutes). You cannot take all 3 in a single day.
Do group lessons and private lessons use the same minutes?
Yes. All lesson types draw from the same weekly minute balance. See Choose your plan for a full breakdown of what's included in each plan.
What happens to my minutes if I pause my plan?
Pausing your plan will prevent you from taking lessons for the duration of time selected (7, 14, 21 or 28 days). The corresponding 7, 14, 21 or 28 paused days will be added to the end of your plan. This will extend the end date of your current plan.
Any minutes you did not use during the current week will expire at the next Monday refresh, as usual. However, the corresponding plan extension will give you the opportunity to take those missed lessons during the final weeks of your plan. Pause your plan
Can I buy extra minutes at a discounted rate?
Extra minutes are purchased separately at their standard price and are not subject to your plan discount. You can purchase extra minutes by simply attempting to take or reserve a lesson after all of your available daily or weekly minutes have been used. This will prompt you to purchase extra minutes for that specific lesson.
My remaining minutes are showing as "extra" when I try to book — what's happening?
